Stay & Play is a mixed-use boutique hotel with storefront retail sold predevelopment. The design is driven by Airbnb Bookings, shifting traditional hotel overhead and staff to the cloud. The highly desirable site fronts Park Blvd in University Heights Business District. A long escrow, 2015-2017 was negotiated to successfully obtain historic approval to demo existing homes, clean phase 1 environmental, geotechnical investigation and design concept prior to closing escrow. Subsequent to the purchase in 2017, the property was resold in less than 70 days.
